Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix enchilada sauce, sour cream, diced green chilies, and taco seasoning until smooth. Stir in optional meat or beans if using.
- Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips in the baking dish. Top with half of the sauce mixture and half of the cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining chips, sauce, and cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
