  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 150 g walnuts Chopped and toasted
  • 200 ml strong coffee (cooled) Ensure coffee is cooled to prevent cooking eggs
  • 200 g sugar Adjust to taste preference
  • 4 pieces eggs
  • 150 g melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and chop the walnuts. Toast them in a dry pan until fragrant.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Then add the melted butter and vanilla extract, followed by the cooled coffee.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until smooth.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  2. Once baked, cool the cake and decorate with a coffee glaze or additional walnuts as desired.
