  • 1/2 cup Apple Butter homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup Milk can substitute with plant-based milk
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon adjust to taste
For the Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese full-fat for best consistency
  • 1 cup Icing Sugar adjust for sweetness
  • to taste Whipping Cream/Milk to achieve desired thickness
For the Caramel Drizzle
  • 10 pieces Caramel Squares
  • 1/4 cup Whipping Cream

Method
 

Cupcake Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla extract, apple butter, and milk.
  4. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually, stirring gently.
  6. Fill cupcake liners about ¾ full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
Frosting Instructions
  1. Blend cream cheese, vanilla, cinnamon, and icing sugar until smooth. Adjust thickness with whipping cream or milk.
  2. Drizzle cooled cupcakes with caramel sauce before serving.
Caramel Drizzle Instructions
  1. Melt caramel squares with whipping cream over low heat until smooth.
