How to Make Healthy Hamburger and Potato Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onions, garlic, and shredded carrots. Season with salt and pepper.
- Line the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan with half of the potato slices. Dot with butter and season lightly.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture over the first layer of potatoes, followed by a layer of corn. Finish with the remaining potato slices on top, dotting with butter and sprinkling with shredded cheese.
- Pour the heavy cream evenly over the top layer.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Check for doneness; the potatoes should be tender.
