Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush the jalapeños with olive oil and place them on the baking sheet. Roast for 15 minutes, watching for the skins to slightly char.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic salt, black pepper, and onion powder until it's creamy and well blended. Fold in chopped roasted jalapeños.
- Take a slice of Texas toast and butter one side. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture on the non-buttered side and layer with 3 strips of crispy bacon and ½ cup of cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of bread, butter the outside, and repeat for the second sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts. Serve immediately.
