For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound shrimp Fresh or frozen, thawed
For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces pasta Linguine or spaghetti preferred
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic Fresh minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter Unsalted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine Or chicken broth/lemon juice
For the Garnish
  • 1/4 cup parsley Chopped, optional
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, optional

Cooking Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add pasta, white wine (or broth), and enough water to cover everything. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce heat and cover. Simmer until pasta is al dente, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. When pasta is ready, stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
