- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add pasta, white wine (or broth), and enough water to cover everything. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat and cover. Simmer until pasta is al dente, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When pasta is ready, stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and fold in chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
