- Combine the spice cake mix and pumpkin puree in a mixing bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan(s) and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
