Preparation
- Cut your flank steak or sirloin into bite-sized pieces, then season generously with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Slice the fresh broccoli, carrots, and onion into uniform sizes.
- Place the seasoned beef at the bottom of the crockpot. Layer the chopped vegetables on top, followed by minced garlic and ginger.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce with a splash of water. Pour evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Set your crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, serve your tender beef and broccoli over steamed rice or noodles. Top with chopped green onions.
